Conn-Selmer Europe has partnered with Music Teacher magazine to offer one UK-based school the chance to win £2,000 worth of instruments from the full portfolio of Conn-Selmer Europe brands including Bach, Conn, Holton, King, Ludwig Drums, Leblanc, and Musser Percussion.
Applications are now open, and the winning school will be able to select the student instruments that they need to make a difference and to improve the quality of music provision at their school.
Conn-Selmer Europe vice president Charles Bozon said: ‘We are delighted to partner with Music Teacher magazine to find and reward a deserving institution. This initiative is deep within our philosophy to help give everyone access to the highest quality musical instruments. This is pivotal in our mission to support teaching and assist young musicians of the future in achieving the highest possible standards.’
Editor of Music Teacher Harriet Richards said: ‘This is such an exciting initiative from Conn-Selmer Europe, and it’s a privilege to be part of it. I can’t wait to see the impact that £2,000 worth of instruments can have on a school and the young people within it, and I am sure that the school’s local hub will be keen to provide any necessary support. The competition is a shining example of the wider music industry working with schools in a meaningful, long-lasting way.’
