CPD
The programme promises to provide attendees with fresh inspiration and sharp insights that they can implement straight away.

Music Teacher magazine is launching the Curriculum Music: Leadership, Collaboration & Inclusivity conference.

Taking place on 10 October in central London, the conference is for primary and secondary educators in England.

One year on from the updated NPME, the event will address the position of curriculum music education in 2023 and beyond.

The conference is designed to empower attendees to create a curriculum that enables the children in their school to reach their full musical potential, gain strategies to help their music department thrive, and to promote the role music can play in developing a cohesive school community.

It will tackle issues of career progression, teacher workload, and how to look after yourself as a music teacher.

There will be a split of primary and secondary breakout sessions to explore further specialist topics.

All primary and secondary teachers, music subject leads, hub leaders, SEN and inclusion professionals, school leadership teams and education advisors are invited to attend.
