This is the second of two resources exploring Edxcel’s suggestions for wider listening and ‘other perspectives’ based around its A level AoS6, New Directions. Here, we look at two influential figures included in Edexcel’s ‘other perspectives’ document of suggested wider listening: Brian Eno and his 1978 album Ambient 1: Music for Airports; and Meredith Monk's 1988 film Book of Days, whose soundtrack (also released as an album) is Edexcel’s suggested work.
