Edexcel GCSE: AoS4 Fusions – wider listening

What exactly is wider listening? And what is its purpose? We use related music to strengthen our students’ understanding of the music they’re required to study as part of the specific course they’re following.
This resource will look at some of the suggestions for wider listening provided by Edexcel for its GCSE AoS4 (Fusions). We’ll consider a selection of approaches that you can use with your students, some of which may be applicable to other pieces and styles.
