For the first time since 2019, students taking GCSE music will be sitting a listening paper this year. The students currently in Year 11 have experienced major disruption over the last two years, so of course there will be a lot of uncertainty about the forthcoming exams. The major examination boards in England and Wales have recognised this, however, and have published helpful extra information about what to expect in this summer’s papers – we’ll take a close look at this information.
