In essence, learning through story is about developing an internal narrative to give music direction and meaning, in order to engage a listener. We are creating a mental journey to keep a young performer engaged and focused for the duration of a performance. In the end, the content of the story is irrelevant: it’s purely a tool to immerse both performer and listener in the music.
