Three-part lessons exist in many different areas of education. This article suggests warm-up activities that can be used in a range of musical contexts in the ‘starter’ part of the lesson. However, they should always be adapted to suit the needs of the group, and are meant as ideas to encourage teachers to develop their own toolkit of activities to draw on with different classes.
