What do we mean by fun? Maybe ‘enjoyment’ is a better work than ‘fun’. There’s less pressure on the teacher to make the lesson ‘enjoyable’, rather than ‘fun’. We have to acknowledge that most of our students will have a different idea of what’s fun, and it’s probably easier to gauge whether our students are enjoying their lessons rather than strictly finding the ‘fun’. And the best way to ensure that our students are enjoying their lessons? Make sure that we’re enjoying them ourselves.
